I live very happily on my own and have two grown up sons who have flown the nest.

I love going for walks, yoga, shopping and the gym.

Actually, that’s a lie.

I don’t love the gym at all. I have to drag my arse there every single time,  but apparently it’s a necessity when you’re in your 50s, so off I go, moaning the whole way through it 

Shopping, however? That I genuinely love.

Online, in actual shops, clothes, make-up… I’m there. And I’m completely addicted to perfume. I honestly don’t feel fully dressed unless I’m wearing a fragrance.

I used to buy so much crap I didn’t need. These days I’m much more selective about what I spend my money on, although I’m not going to pretend I don’t still occasionally waste money on utter crap. We all make mistakes. 😂

So why Deal With It?

I’ve always been the person recommending things to friends and family.

I try something new and tell them whether it’s brilliant or a complete waste of money. I find a bargain and immediately tell everyone about it. I find a discount code and you’d better believe I’m sharing it. 😂

Living on your own can be bloody expensive.

I have a good full time job, but once all the bills are paid I can still find myself wondering where the hell all my money went. I want to save where I can, but I also still want nice things and the occasional treat.

And that’s really where Deal With It came from.

One gorgeous sunny day, while I was walking alongside the River Thames, I had an idea:

If I’m already spending my time finding bargains, trying products and telling my friends and family what’s worth their money… why not share it with more people?

So Deal With It was born. 💗

This isn’t about filling a website with hundreds of things just because somebody will pay me a commission.

It’s about sharing good deals, things I genuinely use, things I’ve tried, things I love, and honest opinions about what’s actually worth spending your money on.

Sometimes I’ll have affiliate links or discount codes, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy something through them, at no extra cost to you. But I want the recommendation to come first.

Because if something’s shit, I’m hardly going to tell you it’s wonderful just to make a few quid. 😂
